Oostland Company is an innovative greenhouse horticulture company that grows, sorts, packs and traded millions of peppers every year. But their identity did not fully come into its own online: the power of the family business and the care for people and product were not sufficiently visible. Potential new employees could be addressed even better: important in a tight labor market. Time for innovation!

approach
We started the process with an extensive tour and a strategic kick-off. Based on this, we determined the most important principles for the new website, such as the goals, the ideal customer and candidate journey and visual and substantive frameworks. This was also followed by a restyle of the logo. The current recognizable 'stamp element' has been preserved, but focus on a more modern look and feel. This has been translated into new car lettering. And of course in a brand new website, on which the story of the family business is beautifully reflected in both content and photography. The brand values, team photography and the 'Working at' page inspire visitors to read more. Technical optimisations have also been implemented, including a dynamic form to make it easy to apply.

A proud family business
The new website combines identity with user-friendly nest and smart technology:
Parallax elements bring the cultivation process to life in a visually powerful way.
New photography shows people and products as they really are: passionate, traditional, pride.
Clear navigation and full optimization for mobile use.
Improved SEO content to be found better, both by customers and potential employees.
Structured data ensures better integration in search engines.
With this digital transformation, Oostland Company is more visible and attractive as an employer. It is really a proud family business.
"You can finally see the attention that we give to our people and products on a daily basis."
